Government grants are available that provide financial assistance to individuals to pay bills during times of need as well as students to pay for college tuition, books and room and board. There are also federal grants available to businesses to pay for equipment, training, salaries and travel expenses.

Those who receive these government grants must meet the requirements set by the funding programs. Here is a list of three (3) government grant programs available to the public.

College Grants

Students who need financial help paying for schools can apply to several grant programs that are funded by the government. One of the programs available is the Federal Pell Grant program. This program provides need-based financial awards to students that are accepted at over 5,400 institutions of higher education in the United States.
